At Mary MacKillop Catholic College, we empower students to organise themselves for daily school life by giving them the tools they need to succeed. Students are able to become independent, confident learners, which sets them up to navigate the complexity and challenges of the modern world.

Mary MacKillop Catholic College operates on six 50-minute period days, which includes a sport afternoon every Thursday. Students are supplied with a college diary, a locker and their own individual timetable, which they can also access through Compass. Students use both traditional and electronic devices such as their laptop when learning, and have access to digital textbooks, Google Classroom and other online learning resources. Facilities including the canteen and library are open outside of lesson time to provide students with access.

Loving God,
You call us to new life
through the Good News.
Responding to your Saving Word,
May we search for truth and wisdom
in asking questions;
May we build a better world
by being people of peace;
Seeing suffering and discrimination
may we work for justice;
Knowing your love for us
may we learn to love each other;
Following in the footsteps of Mary MacKillop
May we give ourselves to you.

Amen

Called to Life

Show us your kind compassion
Help us to serve for all
Give us the strength to seek the truth
And courage to hear the call

Show me the way to freedom
Help me to see the light
Light up the road to justice
And let me be called to life

Reign your loving guidance
And the courage to make amends
Give us the help that’s needed
For spirits to rise again

Listen to those around us,
Tell stories from places far.
Search for the understanding
That difference makes who we are.
